After a very successful Ski Season, Myrtleford is now playing host to cycling enthusiasts taking advantage of the crisp Spring air and flowing rivers along the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. Myrtleford is the halfway point between Wangaratta and Bright with bike trails to Beechworth and Milawa. The popular local business "Bus a Bike" allows cyclists to ride one way and be driven back.
FOOD REVIEWS
"Simply magnificent! Booked a table for 13 of us on the way to the snow the other week. Immaculate. I had the Wagyu, this was one of the best steaks I have eaten to date. Ordered Medium, and it was cooked to absolute perfection. The only qualm we had as a whole was probably the portion size, being from the city it didn't bother me, however I was dining with some big burly country lads and the look of disappointment on their faces when the nicely presented steaks arrived was priceless. None the less everyone said the steaks were right up to scratch. The Harrietville salmon was also tried and loved on the night. If you are ever up that way I strongly suggest you pop in to range Myrtleford, friendly service, warm country vibe and of course some of the best Wagyu on the planet. Spot On."
