EVENTS
As always, autumn is a spectacular time in the Alpine Valley with the deciduous trees turning the landscape into a blaze of red and gold. The heat of summer has gone and is replaced by the crisp clean air of the mountains. It is an ideal time of the year for cyclists and bushwalkers alike. Autumn is also the season of Festivals in the alpine region.
From the 27th April to the 9th May, the nearby town of Bright celebrates its 50th Bright Autumn Festival. Festivities include live music, street performers, open gardens and tours of local attractions.
La Fiera, the annual celebration of Italian heritage, is in its fourth year and returns to Myrtleford on the 25th – 27th May. The whole region gets involved in the celebration - local wineries, restaurants, and the community as a whole:

Sample local wines and traditional dishes with ‘Nonni in Cucina’ cooking demonstration
Procession and Mass in honour of St Anthony of Padua and evening concert of Italian choral works

Tastes of Trentino – a wonderful feast of regional food and wine from the Trentino region in northern Italy

RANGE
Range restaurant will be hosting two sumptuous dinners as part of La Fiera (25th and 26th April). Head Chef Paul Mounsey has produced a unique menu inspired by Italian rural life. Concentrating on regional supplies and seasonal produce, the menu will feature iconic signature Italian dishes with garden fresh local produce matched with some of the region’s finest wines.
The five course degustation menu, with or without matched wines, or an alternative a La Carte Menu is offered for guests on Friday 25th May and Saturday 26th May. These dinners are always very popular so book early by contacting us on 03 5752 2885. Click here for a full menu and dinner details.

ACCOMMODATION
If you are joining us for the La Fiera Dinner at range, why not stop over for a night or two and really enjoy the festivities! We still have a variety of special accommodation packages on offer as well as our two Cottages – Ferndale and Ashdale – ideal for the larger family or two couples.

With all of the modern conveniences required to make your stay a total delight, Ashdale can accommodate up to two couples, a family group or a romantic getaway with room to move.
Don’t forget our unique Studio Cabins with spacious and fully self-contained interiors, luxury linens and quality appliances.
Both Studio Cabins have self-contained BBQ areas in a courtyard setting – private and secluded from the main complex. Modern cooking facilities, split system air conditioning and flat screen digital TV provide a total package to make a longer break comfortable and relaxing.
The Family Studio Cabin contains a Queen Bed and Triple bunks with fully self-contained kitchen and a quaint private BBQ area and courtyard. This Studio Cabin is ideal for the longer family getaway without the added expense of eating out every night.
The Business Studio Cabin contains a Queen Bed with fully self-contained kitchen, separate outdoor BBQ area and a lounge with plenty of bench top space to spread out with your laptop.
These Studio Cabins provide the best of both worlds – full access to the outdoor spa, pool and BBQ facilities, or retreat to your own private sanctuary.
